
Chestnut Ridge is a quiet, relaxing family campground offering camping, swimming and fishing. Nestled on 55 wooded acres in northeastern Ohio, conveniently located two miles north of I-80, Exit 234 Hubbard, halfway between Pittsburgh and Cleveland and right outside of Youngstown, Ohio.
Many of you know this park as being Glen Echo or Lor- El.
We’ve heard many wonderful stories from campers and visitors alike who have shared with us fond memories of how this park was an important part of their childhood. If you are visiting for the first time, we welcome you. If you’d like to revisit and reminisce…… then welcome back.

History
1950s
The family that owned this property also owned a construction company who began shaping the Glen Echo Swim Park. The original Barn (Quonset Hut) was erected in the late 1950s. The barn became a winter equipment storage building.
